Kris Piessens is a senior geologist with 20 years of post-doc experience, after specialising as Master in structural geology and obtaining a PhD in mineralogy and geochemistry. He is well known for working in multi-disciplinary research projects, most noticeably on low-carbon technologies, geological economics and geological models.
