(BE)Leefbare Schelde

Summary

Aim of the Interreg project (Be)Leefbare Schelde is to shift tourist pressure from the coast to inland and to increase the touristic offerings in the region in a sustainable way. Together we are working on the recognition of this region as a UNESCO Global Geopark.

Contributions of the RBINS-GSB as science partner:

• develop and implement geological storylines in the Geopark
• develop geotrails that connect gateways of the Geopark with geosites
• build an Augmented Reality Sandbox for the Rupelklei Museum in Rumst.
